  • Check your spelling

  • Stick to the point
  • Adapt your CV according to the job you are applying for as your CV may not suit every job description as companies vary in their requirements
  • Use a good quality paper
  • Avoid being too “creative” unless the job requires this
  • Visit the Client’s website for product knowledge, mission statements and any further information
  • Write a brief covering letter highlighting that you possess the skills the Client is looking for
  • Always either follow up with a telephone call or invite the Client to call you
